Avoid at all costs! We hired Root group Ltd for an architect‑led RIBA build based on promises from Samuel Swift and Carly Swift. Instead we uncovered hidden financial problems (Root Group Ltd entered liquidation owing £1.4M to HMRC) and opaque “restructuring.” We were misled by Sam, Carly and Root — facts about the company’s situation appear to have been misrepresented to induce us to sign a new contract with Root build Ltd. My boiler stopped working on a Friday evening, I contacted Root Group on Saturday morning and all was fixed by Saturday lunchtime - very quick response. Although, the boiler is quite old, it has been 'serviced' annually by supposed qualified engineers but the fault was something that should have been picked up by all of them just by doing some extra work to clean out a plastic element. Phil from Root Group has total knowledge of Worcester Bosch boilers and picked up on the problem straight away - the first engineer to ever do this on this appliance - super service, I'm really pleased!! A+++

Root provided an excellent standard of work and completed our new bathroom right in budget. We changed our minds in a couple of details but Root we’re always happy to accommodate, and a couple of snags after the job was finished were put right quickly and with no fuss. I will definitely be recommending Root going forward.
