  Remove of load bearing wall and chimney breast on two floors

  Steve was an absolute pleasure to have to do our building work, he has very high standards and likes to do everything thoroughly. Explained everything to me as we went so I felt reassured during the process. Dealt with building control and liaised with our structural engineer and installed a support beam and post. If I ever need budding work done in the future i would hope it would be Steve and Tony, thanks so much for making the whole process actually an enjoyable experience!

  Change location of a downstairs toilet and open up old toilet area into store room

  Scope was to move plumbing for a downstairs toilet, including removal of walls of existing toilet area to open area into the old storeroom (converted area to a snug, next to the new washroom). The change in plumbing configuration was more complex than expected but Steve came up with solution that passed Building Regulations. He was on site to carry out the work. He is very experienced and was meticulous to keep the site clean at the end of each day. The budget process was very clear. It took nearly a year before the work began (due to other issues I was facing) but Steve stayed in touch

  Garage Conversions

  Renovation of a single brick walled Annex to a snug room overlooking the garden

  Scope was to convert a single brick annex to a small "snug" room overlooking the garden. The Architect plans were followed including the wall insulation requirements, opened walls for large windows and the back door, and put up a ceiling. He was on site to carry out the work. He is very experienced and meticulous to keep the site clean at the end of each day. The budgeting process was very clear. It took nearly a year before the work began (due to other issues I was facing) but Steve stayed in touch regularly, was very supportive and stayed committed to the work despite the long delay.

  Removed Walls and Installed Steel Beams and inserted pad stone under a vertical beam

  Scope was to convert kitchen and dining rooms to open plan plus change annex to a snug and washroom. He removed two load bearing walls, inserted steel beams and a pad stone in the floor to reinforce the foundations under a vertical beam. Steve was on site to carry out the work. He is very experienced and was meticulous to keep the site clean at the end of each day. The budgeting process was very clear. It took nearly a year before the work began (due to other issues I was facing) but Steve stayed in touch regularly, was very supportive and stayed committed to the work despite the delay.

  Tidy, flexible, helpful advice. Highly recommended.

  Steve did a very tidy job to remove our chimney breast on the ground floor and dig out a poorly built porch to add in air bricks to get air circulation. He was very responsive and flexible before, during and after the job. Always arrived on time. Steve also listened to what we were after and provided helpful advice. Tidy, polite and a good sense of humour too. Highly recommended. We have another job lined up for Steve already.

  Opening up Living Room/Diner & rebuild of Understairs Storage

  Job to remove understairs cupboard, create new storage room, brick up doorway & knock through wall from lounge. Steve was clearly very experienced & knowledgeable, & interpreted well what we wanted done, unlike others who had quoted. His pricing was reasonable, only increasing due to extra work reinforcing the stairs as agreed. Standard of work was excellent & he was also able to recommend other reliable tradespeople to complete the job. He turned up as planned & communicated well before & throughout job. I would recommend Steve to others & have already booked in for future works.
