SCUM! This guy and his team agreed staged payments for a substantial project and agreed a price, about half way through they started being unreliable with various excuses, and in hindsight we realised the staged payments were substantially exceeding the works done, ultimately it appears builder decided he'd been busted and left site a complete wreck, my wife, our toddler and I are left begging other builders to correct the work done which turns out to not meet building control standards. Nearly a year of incomplete roofs and living in a building site. Wont explain himself or fix it.

Shocked in truth. Points we would add in response with only 200 words to reply here. Everything and everyone was happy on the job. The customer did not want building control to get involved in this project at all and had applied for no permission nor did he have any plans, we called building control and applied on his behalf to make it legit. Due to previously mentioned the project changed and grew with each new day/idea the customer had meaning it was difficult to plan for the workers and materials required, most importantly time scales. We explained we could not simply continue to stay on the job continuously but unfortunately this would not be heard. All costs was fair and accurate. All works have been carried out to the correct standards, luckily I always keep documentation for times like this to protect our standards and proof. We have 100's of happy customers and it's a shame the customer feels this way. Regards S&H Builders Midlands Ltd.
