• Sash window renovation including installing double glazing

  Excellent communication from the company and also the joiners/ fitters Marcel and Mario. The work was started on the agreed date. Marcel and Mario were polite and considerate and their work appears to be of a high standard. There was a problem with the size of the vacuum glass in 2 windows and this was rectified very promptly and without fuss. I would definitely recommend Sash Restoration Ltd.

• External door repair

  They mis-sold an entrance door repair job as requiring a lot of servicing. They quoted almost £1000. On repair day: they put 4 screws in and left. The quote incl changing 3 hinges for £110+VAT. The guys were not aware of this and told us they did not have them. After a call, they “found” and installed them. I checked the brand and make: £6/each. I was furious about the whole affair and made sure they knew. We refused to pay the full amount. Their main rebuttal was that “I had accepted the quote”. On final proposal they unilaterally decided to apply VAT on top.

  The whole process has really smoothly and the guys were really great on the day - their set up and clean up was brill. The windows are fantastic - no one can believe how slim they are and we are very happy to have been able to preserve the original boxes and design. Communication and organisation has been flawless from start to finish.
