10 Solar Battery Storage

System does not offer battery backup during power outage.
I had solar and a battery system installed over a year ago. The installation was done professionally and I was very happy with the service. Unfortunately, I have more recently had an issue that has yet to be rectified. One of the main reasons for the purchase was for battery backup during power outages, something I spoke about during the sale, it has proven not to be included and I have been told additional work and parts are required. I have yet to receive a quote or call back for the work, even after being assured by 2 different support persons that it was in hand back in September.Job location: BH1210 Solar Panel Installation

Customer service didn't live up to their hype.
When I contacted them, they prided themselves in their customer service. I didn't feel that I got that. I'm sure they promised me support in changing suppliers and getting the right tariff for me. Didn't happen. All the hoops that you need to go through to get the paperwork done to export... seemed I had to keep chasing. Asked for specifics about when people would come to do the installation. Didn't get it - they just turned up. The physical job was done well and I'm happy, but felt they could have given a lot more support.Verified reviewerJob location: RG21Response from Save Energy UK

While we can't set up tariffs on your behalf, we're always happy to advise on the best option for your system. Unfortunately, G99 paperwork can be delayed while waiting for energy suppliers to respond. Other customers have faced similar delays, and we understand how frustrating this can be. We wish we could speed things up, but these timescales are often outside our control. Thank you again for your feedback and patience.
