Having booked half a days holiday off work to have our conservatory floor fitted on Monday 12th of June 2023. The time stated was 9.30-10am. At 9am received a phone call off Scott saying he couldn't get here until the afternoon. When I said this was unacceptable he got very irate saying that another job costing more money than ours had taken priority. Totally disgusted with this guys attitude.

Thanks for your review. When i contacted you this morning to let you know that we would be late due to a bereavement over the weekend which had alredy impacted our busy workload , i wasnt expecting such a harsh response from you and i also didnt expect you to say you didnt care about it! In the heat of the moment i lost my professionalism and swore at you, you are aware i called you back and apologised for my unprofessional response within a couple of minutes because i knew i shouldnt have spoke to you like that and i explained the reasons for the situation fully. You then immediately spoke about a discount or compensation of being a couple of hours late. This is why i refuse to come and do the job at all because of the risk of not getting paid the agreed amount. In 15 years of business i have never felt the need to swear at a customer and i have never had a response like yours from any customer that i have been running a couple of hours late to.
To be honest this happens quite often as we are aways extremely busy because our services and the lads that work for me work to a top quality standard and because of this , sometimes our jobs take longer to complete. I wish your new floor fitter the best of luck and hope he isnt running late.
