We were really happy with the work Sam did for us and would definitely recommend SDL.

From initial contact through to completion, Sam was absolutely amazing! Came to quote within 30 minutes of registering his interest to quote for the job (helped that he lives 2 minutes from my house!). Provided a fair quote and gave me confidence that the work would be done to a high standard. Sam spent a full day (not a typical tradesperson's day of 8-3!) here, returned the next morning (a Saturday) to apply another coat of oil and then returned on his way home from another job the following Monday to do the finishing touches. VERY pleased with every aspect of Sam's work! Thank you!

Description of the job below, but essentially, if you are reading this and wondering if Sam is the man for you, stop thinking, give him a ring and book him in! Quite frankly he worked wonders for us! He is organised, careful, tidy, efficient and his work is of a very high standard. Sam carried out some kitchen adjustments including re levelling kitchen units, removing and replacing up stands and back splash, removed, readjusted and reset an induction hob, replaced a kitchen tap and made better an integrated dishwasher. I shall absolutely be using him again. You should too!

Sam was so brilliant - he planned everything out and stuck to a schedule, unless he managed to do something even sooner! He communicated so well with us throughout and was genuinely a pleasure to have in our home, which is a huge thing when you need work doing that will take three weeks! He was very professional, has a great attention to detail and cleans up as he goes which also made a huge difference to the experience I think. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to others - thanks again Sam (and your crew who were also great).

We would recommended SDL carpentry to anyone who wants a job done well. Sam did a wonderful job in our kitchen. His attention to detail is first class and he is highly respectful to his customers. From the point of quotation to installation, Sam explained everything really clearly to us. Sam is a very tidy tradesman and goes above and beyond. Our kitchen supplier mis-measured our kitchen and whilst Sam could have gone ahead with this, he dealt with the supplier directly and came back with bespoke solution for us which we are much happier with. Would highly recommend.

Sam has recently finished a kitchen refit for us. The advice that Sam gave us prior and during the project was invaluable, enabling a stress free installation. His attention to detail and work ethic are exceptional. He is extremely respectful to the environment he is working in. At the end of each day, the site was cleaned and tidied up , leaving us with nothing to do! We have no hesitation in recommending Sam, he is a friendly, trustworthy, and a thoroughly nice guy.
