  Kitchen Spotlights

  Had an issue with my kitchen spotlights but could not find out which one had blown without tripping my lights. Contacted Gary who is my trusted electrician and came round and managed to not only get my lights working again but also presented me with a solution to change my currently spotlights to a more cost effective option where I could replace just the bulb. It was working out really expensive to change each unit every time one blew. Would defo recommend Gary to anyone I know who needs an electrician.

  Rewired old power cable to Boiler programmer

  SEC Norbury carried out removal of very old power cable that had previously been put through a chimney breast and redundant fireplace recess to a Boiler programmer. A new cable was run and re-rerouted via timber suspended flooring. All work professionally/neatly done, tested on completion, including Boiler programmer/thermostat. I have used SEC Norbury quite a few times before, found costs are very reasonable and always been pleased with their work. Would have no hesitation in recommending them,

  Gary was late, disputed the job scope and only accepted cash - but his work was sufficient

  I had a negative experience with Gary: - He arrive two hours late. He only called me to let me know when he was already over an hour late. - He disputed the jobs we had agreed that he would do over text. - Once he finished the job, he stated he would only accept cash, something he had not told me beforehand. When I made clear I had none in the house, he asked me to find an ATM to get some out, rather than accept a bank transfer. - However, the job he did do was adequate.

  I would like to take the opportunity to give my version of what happen. Firstly the job dispute is over 2-3 months. Why as it taken this time to form a compliant. The reason why I was over a hour late, is because I was working in London, and the previous job took longer than expected. I rang the client to explain why I would be late. I do not recall disputing the job at hand. S E C Norbury limited always take instruction from clients, and execute the work in a professionalism manor. You can clearly see from previous reviews S E C Norbury Ltd have not had any issues with payment methods.

  Gary carried out an inspection of a retirement flat prior to purchase, and carried out works after completion. Extremely professional and responsive, with the work done to an exceptional standard.
