  High standard of work

  Steve is excellent, all work to sort our chimney was carried out efficiently and to the highest standard. I know where to go now for any other building work I may need. Highly recommended

  Extension foundations and drainage

  SGR have just completed two weeks work preparing for our home extension. The work involved removal of many tones of earth, then the arrival of similar amounts of concrete to form the foundations. Steve and his team then added a block and beam floor with associated drainage. All was completed in an efficient manner with minimal disruption to the house hold. They arrived promptly each day, maintained a clean and clear site while working and ensured all was packed away each night. Thanks guys, more than happy to recommend your services.

  Two patio areas, paths and wildlife pond created

  Steve was professional, respectful and friendly and paid great attention to every detail of our plans. He has exceptionally high standards which he maintained throughput the project with Steve and Matt keeping the site clean and tidy throughout. We are delighted with the very professional finished job and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend SGR for a similar project. We would certainly have them back. It was a real pleasure working with SGR and so refreshing to receive great customer service!

  Overgrown vegetation removed and replaced with shingle

  Superb. I had an uninhabitable back yard with overgrown plants masking old shed foundations. Steve and his mate came and replaced the mess with a shingled courtyard. It only took them a morning and they left the garden the tidiest I've ever seen it. I couldn't wait to get out there and enjoy my new, spacious patio! Steve gave me a fair quote and then stuck to it. He's a busy man who prefers to work weekends (when I'm often busy myself) but once we had a date booked in he arrived on time and worked really hard. Thank you SGR!

  Relaying of patio and building raised beds.

  SGR were excellent in all aspects of the work completed .. They were very flexible , and allowed us to change the plans during the project . They were courteous, polite and extremely professional. I could not recommend them highly enough .

  New patio; securing a pergola to new patio; replacing fence panels; installing gravel boards; paving to an area to the side of the house; path around the house; steps leading to the drive

  Steve and his able assistant Mattie worked every day (including May Day). They even incorporated a change (on our part) to the original plan. Steve consulted regularly with us. The end result was even better than we had expected and Steve Roberts would definitely be at the top of our list if we decide to have any more major projects in future. Please don't be put off by perhaps having to wait for your project to reach the top of Steve's list, good tradespeople are hard to come-by and, in our experience Steve is a very good tradesman and the finished product was worth the wait!
