Excellent service by Shaw and Sons from start to finish, very helpful in giving advice and information. My kitchen was very dysfunctional so it needed redesigning. After lengthy conversations about what I wanted/needed they came up with a fantastic idea to move my kitchen into my dining area at the back of the property a big space which was hardly used. I now have a beautiful open plan living space downstairs together with my dream kitchen. Can’t thank these guys enough for making my dream into a reality. Very professional, helpful and respectful, highly recommend them.

Richard Shaw and Sons undertook the project of a new bathroom on our property , they carried out the work with great professionalism . The help given in the design/layout of the job the choosing of appliances and furnishing was invaluable and showed in the finished work . The lighting , plumbing works done to a very high standard . Delighted with the job .

Father and Son team , Richard and Lewis did an amazing job with our loft conversion . They organised the whole project very efficiently , design , building regulations , electricians . Their communication with us was excellent , we understood the progression of the job . The alteration was perfectly assimilated in the fabric of the house , so that we do not notice the additions ( internally ) . The project was delivered in time and on budget . I recommend Richard Shaw and Son highly , this is the third job with us .

Richard and Lewis Built us a patio that runs along the back of our house. We are so happy with the work. It had to be raised up by about 800cm, which was a big job, but they were very competitive in price. With their suggestion, they built in beautiful steps that lead us down to the lawn. The finished patio is very impressive and we are extremely happy with their work. We would definitely recommend them and would be very happy to use them again for any future building work.

Richard and Lewis Shaw were the best builders we could have hoped for. They had done multiple builds on our road and every neighbour highly recommended them. We are so pleased with our extension. They are perfectionists and their building work shows that. Everyone who came around during the build commented on how neat everything was. Having Richard amd Lewis took so much stress out of the process - we used their electrician, decorator and gas/boiler fitter. They did everything else. We highly recommend them and we hope that if we needed building work done again we could have them do the job.

This is the second time we have used Shaw and Son, they previously completed a single story extension 5 years ago, we were delighted with their work so obviously wanted to use Richard and his team to convert our loft into two bedrooms and a bathroom. We are extremely pleased with the result, their quality of work is fantastic, they are hard-working, remarkably tidy, polite and very friendly...they even gave my young daughter a gift for her birthday! The project was finished on schedule and to the agreed budget, I would not hesitate to recommend Shaw and Son builders.
