In reply to the above review DAE plumbing and heating undertook work on an old appliance for this customer. A part was found to be leaking and we supplied and installed a replacement part. A further issue was reported with the appliance some time later. Unfortunately we could not attend as family commitments/hospitalisation meant the engineer was not available. We have asked this customer for proof of further works and made clear NOT TO PAY us and we will assess the documents. Unfortunately she has not provided this so we can only accept this on face value. We only then invoiced this customer for the materials and no labour as a good will gesture as we were unable to attend and the possibility of a problem. Unfortunately without proof of further issues we cannot accept the liability for an old appliance leaking. We have offered this customer a full refund and to produce the evidence requested but she is not responding to our requests. DAE Plumbing & Heating.
