  Our old front door needed replacing

  Rod was very professional from start to finish. Gave us examples of what the door would look like and explained everything. On the day of the installation it was freezing cold, didnt phase Rod at all just worked on. Door looks amazing. Super happy we chose Rod.

  Replacement Garage Door

  We had already experienced excellent service from Silika for our replacement front door. So it was with complete confidence that we asked Rod Charnick to provide a new electric garage door. The installation was not the most straightforward but Rod was meticulous in making sure the job was completed to perfection . His communication was excellent, always punctual and a very efficient and effective worker. We would not hesitate to recommend Silika and Rod would definitely be our first port of call for any future work.

  Replacement front door lock and cylinder

  I’ve used Silika several times in the past, this time was to replace my front door lock and cylinder. As always Rod was knowledgeable and courteous. He takes a lot of pride in his work and always does a wonderful job. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Silika to anyone looking to repair or replace any doors, windows or fittings.

  New Front Door Fitting

  Can not say how pleased I was with the workmanship of Silika (Rod) From thinking of changing front door Rod came round and went through in detail the various doors available and produced “dummy” mock ups of how the door(s) would look like. Agreed door and price and fixture date was given. Installation day came and Rod arrived on time. The workmanship was excellent, clean and tidy, methodical and again explained various features of the door/locking mechanism. Rod is soooo professional, a credit to his trade. Again without hesitation would recommend Silika extremely highly.

  Sealed glazing unit replacement

  Rod has completed various jobs at my house ranging from the replacement of a sealed window unit as well as a new composite front door, sectional garage door and two sets of bifold doors. Rod is a very professional, polite and reliable tradesman. He was recommended to me by my brother-in-law and has been nothing but helpful and easy to deal with. All of his work Is to a very high standard and never outside of the arrangements we have agreed on. Can’t recommend highly enough.
