  Excellent Service

  The hot tap in my bathroom basin was leaking heavily. I contacted Checkatrade and Simba was one of the plumbers alerted. Simba rang me less than an hour later and I told him what the problem was. He said that he would be with me within the hour - and he was. Simba assessed the problem and and advised me that the tap needed replacing. This meant that both taps had to be replaced. Simba drove to a supplier and returned with a pair of very nice taps. He quickly installed these onto the handbasin. From contacting Checkatrade to the job being done took less than 4 hours.   get a quote before he starts any work

  Unfortunately my wife allowed him to start work without a quote. We were charged £220 for less than one hours work with no materials! I had subsequent e-mailed quotes from checkatrade for £100. The work was done well but in my opinion the price was ridiculous.

  Blocked sinks leading to overflow of outside drain.

  I was concerned when he didn’t bring any tools with him and had to go to Screwfix to get some drain rods and used any buckets and bags that I had I would preferred that he said this is not the job that I would normally do, and would advise you to get a drain expert, with a small charge. Rather than charge me a lot of money for a job that will need doing in less than a week by somebody else.. I wasn’t expecting raw sewage to be left in my garden. The man I called the next day offered a flat fee straight away and was gone in 20 minutes with a completed job and all the equipment require.

  Fixing two leaky toilets

  Repairs done very efficiently and at a fair price. Simba was also happy to address one of my nitpicks about orientation of a isolation value when I had a look at the work. Reassured that I could phone in case of any issue with the work. Top job.
