  Excellent building contractors

  We had some renovations carried out on our house in 2024 and 2025 by S&J builders. We were impressed at the time with the quality of their work, professionalism and friendliness of their staff and their good communication. Recently we have experienced a problem with a set of sliding doors. We contacted S&J and within days they have responded with a very senior member of the team coming and sorting out the problem (no charge to us). This confirms our view that we are confident to recommend these builders and would be more than happy to use them again in the future.

  I would use S&J again……we know each other well!

  This review is about sharing a year of my life with S&J! It lasted a year….much longer than any of us anticipated, but was due entirely to unforeseen groundworks and subsequent approval from regulatory bodies. Hugely challenging building works, long delays, very hot summer…… Staff reliable, on site punctually, cheerful Polite, trustworthy, considerate, happy! Sensitive to neighbours Consistent staffing……the same 10-15 people All staff in company clothing Problems resolved amicably. Minimal radio use and always managed Inappropriate language seldom heard (and I was on site a lot)

  Sinclair Jones were top notch!

  After meeting Andrew and George we realised they were the guys for us, personable, friendly and knowledgeable. We had never undertaken a project of this scale before and the chaps were great at explaining the journey along the way, taking on a lot of the heavy lifting and project management with little fuss. Even any snags they were solved and completed quickly and efficiently. The SJ team covered all aspects of building from the groundwork team to the fabled mastic man. Every team were professional and courteous to us and the neighbors. Would 100% recommend.

  All Good!

  Andrew and George came up with a scheme to keep our garage instead of demolishing it due to our neighbour’s tree roots causing it to subside. They have done previous work on our property and we were really pleased with the work done then and how they listened and understood our requirements. All of their team are great tradesmen and are lovely guys and always tidy up at the end of the day. A great company who do a good job, highly recommend!

  Excellent all-round building company

  Worked with S&J on a major project to transform our house, including internal reorganisation of our main living space, new kitchen, new bathrooms, rear doors, and upgrading of plumbing, electrics etc. We chose S&J based on a competitive quote, a great reference, and their strong and reliable communication, and with the work now all completed we feel we made the right choice. S&J are highly qualified, reliable, trustworthy, good problem solvers, fair and reasonable. We have already recommended them to friends for their major project, and would recommend and use them again, without hesitation.

  Happy to recommend

  We have worked with Sinclair and Jones on a few projects. We have found them to be friendly yet professional with their approach. They have a great team who work well and are happy to discuss any concerns and answer any questions. The projects were completed in the time scale advised and the site was left clean and tidy. I would recommend this company.
