Repair garage roof
I am totally discussed with the quality of the job and workmanship and tried on numerous occasions to contact them regarding coming back to fully finish the job but nobody came round. They were paid for the job but received no invoice to prove that it was paid. All I have is the initial quote and proof of bank transfer. Originally quoted to repoint the ridging as the garage roof was leaking.
After positing my original complaint, Stephen from SJL Home Improvement contacted me and has subsequently come back and completed the repairs to the ridging, repointing the sides of the ridging sealing the gaps. Replace roof
I employed James from Royal roofing and home improvements on the 21/1/21, He and Steven Lock from SJL home improvement began work a few days later. Total cost was to be £7000, but ended up costing £9000 for work which I later found out was not needed. I was left with a roof that still leaked, blocked downpies, 12 broken tiles, broken chimney vent and unsecured ridge tiles and capping that wasn,t fixed properly. Fixing gable ends and repairing the ridging
Do not use this company, after they did the ridging repairs the roof leaked horrendously and there were 1cm gaps between the ridging and the top tiles. Fascias, soffits and replace gutters.
I got in touch with SJL through my neighbor as he got a quote off Steve. Steve and the lads are very polite, friendly and helpful. I'm very happy with the level of work carried out.
