  • Renovation of garden shed into new office/living space

    SJW Design and Build, carried out a project to renovate what was essentially a garden shed into a luxurious fully functioning office and chill out area. We gave very little brief into exactly how we wanted it to look but the result is fantastic. The structure was leveled, fully insulated, underfloor heating installed, new flooring, oak feature wall, strip lights, new electrics and uplights and cladding on the outside. It has given us an extra space to concentrate on work or escape from the house. Really impressed with the vision, and the finish is exceptional. Would highly recommend this company

Although I have decided now not to get the work done as yet, Stewart reached out to me to go through everything and was very helpful and transparent with explaining the process and what’s involved included honesty about costs.     Stewart came to my rescue with a small exterior mastic job requiring attention. He was more than willing to help me and to give me flexibility to decide between colours and Danny was sent along to carry out the task for me within a short timescale. I was very impressed with the courtesy, excellent customer service and professionalism of them both. I will for sure be having more substantial work carried out by SJW Design and Build in the near future. What peace of mind this has given me.

  • Repair lintel and other repairs

    Stewart and his did a fantastic job. They kept me informed all the way through the job and sent regular pictures of their progress. Stewart advised when they found a problem with the flooring and rectified without causing me any stress. They did a few jobs for me including, repairing the lintel above an interior door, replacing flooring , replacing floor tiles, fixing door locks, and a leaking shower. All done expertly and in good time. I cannot recommend them enough and will almost definitely be using them again when need.
