  Electric Garage Door Installation

  ⭐ 1 Star – Extremely disappointing experience

I’m writing this review so that potential customers can make an informed decision before using this company. We had our garage door fitted in December 2025. Unfortunately, although the colour was correct, the finish was completely wrong. We had ordered a smooth finish, but a textured finish was installed. We raised this immediately and were told in January 2026 that the door would be replaced in February. Unfortunately, this was the beginning of an incredibly frustrating 8–9 month ordeal. Unfortunately I cannot leave the rest of the review as I've used up all of the characters!

  High Standards of Workmanship

A builder we knew passed us the Skandoor brochure and we received a quote after a length survey which we accepted but wouldn’t want the work carried out for a couple of months which actually suited Graham as they were extremely busy. A couple of months later we were contacted and given a date and they arrived at the agreed time. The work was carried out and completed quickly cleanly with a very high standard of workmanship. I wouldn’t hesitate to employ these guys to do a garage door conversion .

  Skandoor Great Service & Product

Great company - very professional from start to completion of the works. Our sectional garage door was ready a month earlier than anticipated which was great news for us! It looks so slick and modern and we chose the wood effect, which was similar to our old wooden garage door. The customer service was excellent and the guys that fitted the door were polite and very quiet they just go on with the job and it took around 21/2 hours to complete. All mess was swept up and no rubbish was left behind - great job!

  Unreliable, lack of communication

Terrible communication, I’ve made numerous calls over the last few months and not a single person has got back to me - still waiting Placed order in march and 6 months later-nothing!
