  Repointing work and guttering repairs

  Failed to fix guttering as agreed and the pointing work has been falling out since they left. The leaks we have are worse after their intervention. We have tried to contact them to fix this but they have ignored us.

  Roof inspection and gutters repair

  Our experience with this company is very bad. On the 23/12/2020 they came to fix our leaking gutters. 9 months later, we are still with leaking gutters! We paid in full although the job was not completed. They promised to come right after New Year to finish the job. This did not happen until March. Many calls and messages, only promises with no appearance. Finally, they installed the gutters, however, the first rain showed that the job was poorly done. We were unable to get the guys come and fix them. We are now back to rainy season and our house is being continuously damaged by the leakages.

  Roof repair

  Due to a mild storm last week, the tiles and ridges of our roof were damaged! I called Skelmorlie Home Improvements and they fixed the problem in no time. I admired their work because they are very skilled and dedicated! Well done! Great service and good prices!!

  Led repair

  Emailed after damage to our roof led to water coming through into our bathroom, had previously contacted two other companies who'd either not turned up or came round to check quote the roof without bringing a ladder..... Within 24 hours they'd attended, fixed the leak and described what they'd had to do to fix the problem as well as outlining why the leak occurred in the first place giving me better understanding of what would need to be done to permanently solve the issue. The following day they'd sent me a quote for future work which again seemed very reasonable. Thanks again boys

  Chimney repair

  I've marked 10 cross the board as I didn't want to reduce their average feedback as this company did not eventually complete the job but I just wanted to feedback on their patience in dealing with a multiple occupancy tenement flat knowing that any proposal had to be reviewed and considered my many parties and the delays that often entailed. I found them polite and informed.

  New roof on back porch

  Started off well talked a good game - asked for money upfront - didn't measure job up phoned 72 year old mum to ask how many tiles were on roof before the went to get materials - started job day after pricing time keeping not good - as days went on there were some problems found which we do accept but they then tried to charge an additional £2000 onto a £1500 Original price - workmanship was poor timekeeping became worse,arguments over money - asked them to leave job - have had job re-done materials cost £187 - guy didn't want anything because of the bother already endured - paid him £300
