• Coving installation

  Second time I’ve used Darren now and I don’t think I’ve ever come across a more honest and genuine tradesman. He came out to install some coving however due to a problem with the product, he was unable to install so we had to reschedule. Second time round we encountered another problem with the coving so unfortunately he wasn't able to fit it. Both times he was very understanding and sympathetic with the situation, didn't charge for his time despite him being very busy and just overall very professional. It's hard to find tradesmen like Darren nowadays. Would 100% recommend!

• Re-render 3 sides of large victorian house

  I signed up to Checkatrade and the next day Darren from Skimline contacted me with an example of a similar job. He organised scaffold, removal and replacement of render, tyrolean rendered all over and 2 coats of paint, window and corner stones included. The team are well organised, hard working to a high standard, punctual, polite, friendly and work was completed on time. I would highly recommend Darren and his team. Thanks Darren.

  Darren and his team were outstanding throughout. Darren was constantly available for contact if I had any questions prior to the job and visited in advance to double check what was needed. He provided a 100% accurate quote. His team were friendly and prompt aswell and the work they completed was of the highest quality. I will be contacting Darren again when we redecorate the next rooms in our house. Thanks Darren!

  From the start, Darren was swift to respond to calls/texts and we got the job booked in very quickly. Everything he said he was going to do - he did. Turned up on time, completed the job on time - no messing about. A pleasure to deal with and very pleased with the result. Would definitely recommend.
