  I Cannot thank Sam enough for his urgent call-out to one of our properties, in where we desperately needed an electrician to sort out some internal problems so that our plumber could crack on with the job under a short time-frame to complete the job. Sam liaised with me the evening before and promptly arrived the next morning and cracked on with the job. Not only did he complete the jobs I asked him to do, but he went out of his way to offer 'better' solutions so that our tradesman would be able to get a shift on with their work and get a lot more completed then we imagined that day.

• Investigating and remedying various lighting issues

  Sam is a very personable and friendly tradesman. He was punctual and reliable. He visited our house to properly assess our issues and quoted very soon after. We booked him at his next availability, and he turned up on time to set about repairing the faulty electrical work done by the previous electrician. He explained everything that needed to be done and walked through everything afterwards. He also uncovered some faulty wiring in the loft, but showed us pictures so that we could see for ourselves. Would absolutely use him again and recommend his services.

• Kitchen electricity kept shorting out the house

  Our circuit breaker was repeatedly going off leaving the house without power. It got worse until we couldn’t switch it back on. We couldn’t work out what was causing it. We called Sam who graciously got back to us in the evening to come up with a way of stopping the fridge freezer from defrosting before he could get to us. When Sam came round he was meticulous in detecting the cause of the issue and uncovered a problematic water leak (unrelated) in the process. He fixed the issue and checked on us the next day to check everything was ok. Sam is a great electrician!

  Sam had been working for us for several years with total efficiency. He has replaced most of our lighting, hung a scarily high chandelier in the staircase, wired new plugs, sorted out a tricky short circuit and more. He is very thorough, reliable and sorts out all problems. He is also very reasonable price wise. I could not recommend him more warmly.

• Fitting the electrics for an extension and more

  Sam did a first class job for us. As well as the extension, he fitted new internal and external lights, new power sockets, and sorted other electrical problems in a 110 year old property. We have no hesitation in recommending him.

  I always use Sam for any electrical work that needs doing, whether planned or an emergency he always fits me in with great communication. He’s recently completed 2 EICR checks on properties and fixed any issues along the way, explaining anything that needs doing including his professional opinion. I trust Sam completely and everything he’s done has been perfect, competitive prices and super friendly too, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.
