I am sharing my experience with SM Home Improvements and the trader Shadjim Miah, and I strongly advise others to avoid using him for any bathroom renovation work. Based on what I experienced, he does not demonstrate the knowledge, skills, or qualifications required to carry out bathroom installations to a safe or acceptable standard.The workmanship I received was extremely poor, and the job was left in a state that required me to pay another professional to correct the mistakes. This meant I ended up paying double for the same work. In my opinion, no customer should be put in this position.

AVOID THIS PLUMBER AT ALL COSTS. I hired him for what should have been a straightforward job and it turned into an absolute nightmare. The work was done to an appalling standard — bodged, rushed, and ultimately left unfinished. Despite not completing the job, he had the audacity to charge well over the agreed price, adding on hidden fees I was never warned about. To make matters worse, his poor workmanship caused actual damage to my home, which I am now having to pay another tradesperson to fix properly. When I raised my concerns, he was rude and dismissive — zero professionalism whatsoever.
