Barry, Jason and the team gave us a lovely new roof last November. The follow up to this job to totally eradicate our damp upstairs wall, was to install a new window and fit external cladding with insulation. Just as before, we received the usual excellent communication, polite and respectful behaviour and high quality workmanship. The combination of the new roof, window and cladding has totally taken away the dampish feeling to upstairs and everything looks great too. Once again, we’re delighted with the end result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Solent Roofing and Building.

I needed my rear roof re felting with new battens, new GRP valley, facia boards, soffits and felt support trays. The work carried out by Barry, Jason and the team was excellent. They took the time to explain what was needed and why, I was also provided with photos of all the work that was carried out as they went along. I found them honest, reliable, friendly, polite, tidy and always on time. All the old felt and battens had to be taken out through the house that had just been redecorated and they were really careful not to damage or mark anything and were very tidy. Jason, Barry and the team came and fixed a lower level roof that was experiencing a leak. Not only did they find and fix the problem but they did it in record time, wonderfully finished and incredibly tidy. I would not hesitate to use them again.

We always had problems with our low pitch roof, problems being water ingress and velux units leaking, We asked Solent to quote for work after seeing their work on 3 neighbours roof replacements, We were given 3 options as to how to replace our leaky roof by Solent, Each option was fully costed and the potential "pitfalls" were discussed. We opted for the option that offered the most protection and was the most in keeping with the property. The work was carried out on time and to the agreed budget.
