  We have found Solum GB Limited very professional and helpful in their approach from our initial enquiry, meeting with sales, dealing with office staff, and finally the installation team. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have found this local family run company to guide us through our journey of changing our ageing gas boiler to replace with an Air Source Heat pump. We have been particularly impressed with how well organized the the installation work was carried out, starting on time through to completion of whole project in the agreed timescale. Excellent workmanship.

  A friend recommended SolumGB to me, following their own experience. Their representative gave a clear explanation of the procedure involved through to the installation. There was no pressure selling. The quote included a full list of what the quote included. Payments were made in stages also covered by insurance. Extremely pleased with the instalment, also the team that carried out the work involved

  Setting up and servicing an Air Source Heat Pump

  Setting up - Solum GB was very clear about what the ASHP could do, how it would work and how they would fit it. They completed the job in the time stated, were very clean, efficient and friendly. This was August 2020. From the start we have had no problems with the installation. It does what they said it would do. Ongoing checking - this has been regular, on time and without problems. Their Head Office staff are on the ball.

  Replace an oil boiler with a new ASHP and associated equipment, tank etc. Also solar panels.

  This kit is complex, and is absolutely not "fit and forget". It needs regular maintenance, training on how to get the best from it, and ongoing support. Solum GB gave us a really good service for both the supply and fit, and then the ongoing support. I initially went to another business who were hopeless and Solum rescued us - at a better price too. Our ASHP experience encourage us to use the to invest in Solar Panels also - and they have supported that too, so when the supplied inverter failed, a new one was supplied under the warranty. A small and friendly team - good service.

  ASHP annual service.

  The Solum GB technician turned up on time, talked through what would be done, confirming what was sent by email. Very through cleaning of ASHP unit and topping up of fluids. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I will be using them again.

  This small company is expert and experienced in their field and did a great job. They are polite and easy to deal with and responsive to technical queries. I found them to be reliable and trustworthy and everything they did was done in a timely manner. They always left the site clean and tidy. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
