    This small company is based in Chichester but covers a wide area of Sussex. Hugh, the owner was quick to respond to my enquiry and visited my mother to talk about a stairlift and prices. The turnaround from order to installation was just under 4 weeks which was a lot quicker than a competitor. Installation took 4 hours and Lance, who installed it was very good to explain to my mum and sister how it worked and make sure they were happy before leaving. The experience with Southdown Lifts was excellent throughout and they were super efficient at every stage.

We are based in Chichester and Haywards Heath covering East and West Sussex (and borders) for prompt home visit stairlift assessments and technical stairlift support services. We are certified installers for Thyssenkrupp stairlifts which includes the HomeGlide for straight rails and Flow X for straight and curve rail designs.

If you need a stairlift for a narrow staircase the Flow X is the best solution, it can be installed onto staircases where other leading stairlift brands cannot. With seat swivel technology safely controlling the rotation direction to maximise available space for feet and knees whilst travelling, the seat can face down the staircase which requires less space than sitting across the staircase.

  • A range of comprehensive warranty options, our standard warranties are two years for new stairlifts and one year for pre-owned.

  • Our commitment to the highest standards of customer support, naturally our staff have current DBS certificates and we are a genuinely local business taking pride in meeting the individual needs of our customers. Quite often there are complex health conditions affecting how a stairlift will be used as well as communication over the phone and when we visit.
