  New Fireplace, hearth and installation of log-burning stove and flue

  Lewis and the team were very professional, friendly and helpful. I couldn't recommend them more highly. The quote from SE Stoves and Fires was also very competitive too. If you're planning similar work or need advice, then you really need go no further.

  No work carried out

  The first missed appointment was on Saturday the 9th of November for 11:30, which was setup a week in advance. A text was received on the morning of the said day to advise cancellation with a recommendation to rebook. Rebooking was made on the afternoon of the 9th for the morning of the 13th. A no show, with no call or text and no response to a voicemail message. A wasted couple of mornings and extremely disappointed at the lack of courtesy.

  Log burner installed + additional work

  We had a log burner installed after much research and looking around. We opted for the Contura 51 log burner which was advised by Lewis and Adam. Excellent log burner. Friendly, honest advice and they could not have been more helpful. After their initial quote we shopped around but were pleased that we did not receive any chase up calls or any hassle. They also advised re the best logs and kindling. Outstanding company who we highly recommend. We have advised this company to several friends/family who have al had a good experience. Richard and Lee

  Chimney swept

  Our chimney was swept quickly and efficiently. The sweep put down floor protection and sealed the chimney off, and he also constantly checked that there he’d been no escape of soot or dust. After the chimney had been swept all the soot was removed and the grate hoovered clean, everything was left spotlessly clean and tidy.
