    Very efficient and courteous telephone communication and prompt responses to emails. The initial visit to assess the work was prompt and professional. The installation team arrived punctually and completed the work very quickly. Charged for a full day’s work which only took around 3 hours. On querying this, I received a comprehensive explanation of the costing process and was given a small good will discount. Good overall service.

Southern Tank Services Ltd are specialist in oil tank installation and decommissioning work for oil-fired heating and hot water, diesel storage, and water tanks. The company has been trading since 2002 and has grown every year. Our customers now include Wiltshire Council, The National Trust and 1000's of domestic and commercial clients. Click here for more information

We carry out our tank installation work from our South Wiltshire base, covering most of the South of England from Devon to Hampshire, including Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire and West Berkshire. Our commercial work takes us into London and the Home Counties.

Typical work undertaken includes domestic oil tank replacements for home heating oil, commercial tank replacements for heating oils and diesel fuel for vehicles, plant machinery and generators. We offer rapid response and quick turn-around of services.

This includes the following services:

  • Holding tanks and pumping out fuel.
  • Temporary fuel storage.
  • Tank cleaning - Confined spaces man entry.
  • Specialist tank and fuel services to Data Centres and Generator Users for critical back-up power.
  • Fuel polishing and filtering services.
  • Removal of redundant tanks and safe decommissioning of underground tanks.
  • Removing water from fuel oil tanks. and cleaning.
  • Installation of above and underground fuel oil, water and waste tanks.
  • All aspects of pipework (including pipe-in-pipe) and associated services.
  • Leak detection systems.
  • Fuel management diesel dispensing pumps and cloud-based control.

We also supply and rent tanks, mobile fuel & water bowsers and pumping equipment to the trade and retail.
