Excellent experience working with Southshore Projects on our house renovation. From the initial site visit through to the final calculations, everything was delivered as promised. Professional, responsive and clearly very experienced in residential structural engineering.

Very disappointed with this company. We instructed them to provide structural calculations for two walls, both of which were later found to be incorrect by an independent structural engineer. One wall was not load-bearing and required no steel, while the other could support a beam without excavation to foundations as Southshore insisted. Despite several opportunities to review their work, they refused. When asked to discuss matters with our builder, M became aggressive. Promised redrawings were never provided, and our formal complaint resulted in no resolution.

We’ve worked with Shayan at Southshore Projects across a number of projects now and have always found them professional, responsive and easy to deal with. Drawings and calculations are produced promptly, communication is clear throughout, and they have always been happy to discuss practical solutions on site when needed. As a contractor, it makes a huge difference working with an engineer who understands real world construction and not just what works on paper. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable structural engineer.
