  Ed had previously built our airing cupboard and had done such a good job, we knew we wanted to work with him again! Ed and John tailored what they had placed to match our existing patio, gave us advice on after-care, and all waste materials were responsibly disposed of. Their years of experience were evident as the work was completed promptly in a day and a half to a really high standard. Both Ed and John were really pleasant and tidy, and despise us working from home we weren't disturbed.

• Replacement floor boards

  Ed did a great job with a really tricky task, replacing sections of boarding which had dipped or had developed a nasty squeak. The end result was brilliant, and the site was left very clean and tidy both indoors and outside on the drive. The work was completed on time and to quote. We've already asked him to quote for another task and would have no hesitation in recommending his work. Thanks Ed.

• Replacing internal doors

  Having just moved to the area we went through Checkatrade to find someone to fit some new doors for us. We found Ed Sparrow on here and he carried out the work. He was very professional but friendly and helpful as well. He did a first class job and we were delighted with our new doors, they really changed the look and feel of the area they were installed in. We would not hesitate to use his services again and would 100% recommend him to others looking for carpentry or building work to be carried out.

• Take old door off and fit new doors with furniture

  What a great company, Ed came to my house and took all the old doors off and replaced them with new plus the handles and hinges . Did not complain about the two flights of stairs he was taking the doors up either . I will call Ed again when I need some more work doing . Great job done Ed im very pleased with the workmanship top notch

  Ed, along with John have made a fantastic job of our conservatory, it is now a room that can be used all year round. They also removed the patios doors that separated the lounge from the conservatory, made the opening wider and installed oak bifold doors. The workmanship and attention to detail was outstanding and Ed coordinated the other trades that were needed. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ed and John, they have a wealth of experience between them and are friendly, professional and very tidy workers.
