  New Shed and BBQ area

  We had Doug in to erect a composite shed that we had bought and create a BBQ area, this entailed removal of the old sheds, creating a concrete base and laying porcelain tiles to the BBQ area, whilst doing the work we also asked him to build a retaining wall. As always with Doug he does a very professional job and the finish is excellent, would recommend Doug for any work.

  Conservatory Build

  Doug completed a great job, demolishing the old and building new conservatory. He has excellent communication. Discussing works clearly explaining options to find best way forward. Highly reccomend.

  Not the expected finish

  Doug cam ever to quote us and seemed to be very knowledgeable and that he had done this job multiple times. He communicated it would take 3-4 days to complete to a finish where we just had to paint after. Unfortunatley the job took longer than expected, with Doug having to shop to get supplies that could have been thought of earlier in order to make the job more efficient. The finish was not as simple as just being able to paint, there was quite a lot of filling that now needs to be done round edges and a new carpet that needs laying as there is now a gap that he did not tell us about.

  A 90% inaccurate spiteful review. It took 3 ½ hours longer that the 3-4 days quoted. When I finished work each day, I would go to the builders’ merchants on my way home so when I got to work in the morning the materials were in the van - how is that now efficient. The second fix carpentry would need filling by a decorator that is in his remit to undertake. That is the only point I could have made clearer. The gap in the carpet saga; I knocked through a wall to create a doorway so the carpet would not be under the part of the wall I removed – would it. At the end of each day, I asked the husband to see how the job was progressing - not any problems from him. The final insult came in a text telling me she was helping me to be more professional and learn from what she said for future jobs a bit like me telling a fighter pilot how to fly a plane. Look at the rest of my reviews to judge my work.

  Clearing a kitchen, fitting new and arranging work with other trades.

  As always Doug completes the job in a professional manner. Keeping to costs, listening anad discussing options to ensure understanding and the best way forward for the project. Another great job complete.
