  Water leak ceiling repair

  Doug was friendly, helpful and informative from the outset. He was very patient when it came to waiting for the insurance company to finalise my claim. When it came to completing the works, he was punctual, friendly, efficient and tidy. I highly recommend his services and would definitely utilise his services again, should I need any building work doing.

  Spencer Builders are great

  Doug at Spencers Builders was brilliant. He arrived when he said he would, he laid sheeting on my floor to save on mess. He was absolutely 💯 👌. He completed the job in the timescale given. Would definitely recommend him. In fact I have already discussed another project. The thing with Doug he listened to what we wanted done.

  Garage renovation

  Doug carried out extensive repairs to our garage plus some other minor maintenance work as agreed and, so far as I can tell, to a good standard. We appreciated his advice on the best approach to the specific issues and his thorough implementation of what was rather a 'bits and pieces' assignment. We would be happy to engage him again if the need arises.

  Wattle and daub wall had collapsed. This was restored and plastered

  Doug at Spensers builders suggested out to repair this 18th century old wall with more modern techniques whilst maintaining the look of the property’s black and white wattle and daub walls. He arrived and worked around my guests, was very tidy. Took all rubbish away. Work was done to a very good standard.

  Reinforced retaining garden wall

  In Order to Contain the roots of a neighbours elevated tall conifer tree, Doug carried out work to my back garden‘s retaining wall, he dug the footings, built a wood shutter structure, filled it with concrete, inserted reinforcing Steel bars, Vibrated the concrete for added strength and rendered the wall smoothly and cleanly to a flat finish The project was completed by building a small garden wall to create a raised flower bed. Doug worked hard, consistantly and carefully during very hot and wet weather, kept his working area in the front and back gardens clean tidy and organized. V satisfied
