We had Ian round to plaster our kitchen today. We’ve had him in to do work previously and due to how good his work was, didn’t hesitate to book again. Ian was brilliant in fitting us in as it was a bit of a time sensitive job we weren’t expecting. Again his quality of work on a what was a pretty pi**ed wall is brilliant. Extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked St Albans Plastering for a rough quote for a small ceiling and wall holes — a normal request. They replied with sarcasm, accused me of ‘jumping up and down demanding stuff’ and threatened to blacklist me — all for six polite words. If they’re this hostile before a job, imagine after.
