Steven only worked an average of 3-4 hours per day and was reluctant to work any longer to maximise on the good weather in September. He was a very difficult person to communicate with and seldom greeted a customer upon arrival each morning or spoke throughout the day. 6 weeks later weather has changed so left to start another job. Poor quality work overall and refused to accept any requests to make good. Thin layer of paint applied but still refused to apply another coat. Badly prepped walls, filler not sanded down. Added extra costs without prior agreement which surprised elderly customer.
Response from Steven Cox Painting & Decorating
Customers, they can be a bit tricky sometimes but i always explain why some things need to be carried out a certain way. They are normally reassured when they see you are doing the job correctly and using the right materials. Unfortunately if i had worked until midnight, did the job for free & gave them a £1000,000 they would still not be happy.
The work i carried out stands up to scrutiny by any competent person or i would not have said it was finished as i want the customer to be happy & get repeat work & hopefully referals in the future.
Over the 34 years i have been decorating i have many happy happy customers who are more than happy to recommend me.
