  The Best of the Best

  Colin and Doran re-rendered my chimney stack to a standard that I was impressed and amazed by! They really are proper craftsmen of a type that we don’t seem to see anymore and what they don’t know about heritage plastering methods and techniques isn’t worth knowing. When they first arrived to give a Quote they talked me through every aspect of what they would do in such detail that I made up my mind to use them there and then, I couldn’t imagine how they could be bettered. On top of this they are really nice guys to deal with and have around your property. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them

  Flat Ceilings

  Thank you to two magicians

  Doran and Colin are magicians and lifesavers. They were able to sort out the ceiling in my daughter’s room at very short notice. They are hugely skilled and knowledgeable as well as absolutely charming and good company.

  Lime Plastering

  Perfect lime plastering

  Doran Stewart and Colin MaKay have just comnpleted a beautiful job of lime plastering my ceiling, which had collapsed owing to building work upstairs. They were prompt. helpful, polite, cooperative and very hardworking. They also cleared up carefully after every day's work, and explained to me every stage of the work, and what I needed to do to help speed up curing of the traditional plaster. It was a delight to meet two professionals with such perfect manners as well as advanced traditional skills, and I would happily recommend them to anyone.

  Coving

  Fitting plaster coving & ceiling roses

  Doran and Colin fitted some plaster coving and ceiling roses in my hallway, landing and bedroom. The communication was very prompt and precise and the price was reasonable. Work started on time each day and the job was finished earlier than expected. They were very polite and friendly and the work was carried out to a very high standard with no issues at all. An excellent job and I will definitely use them again. Thoroughly recommended!
