• Repairing and replastering a ceiling damaged by water from thevroom above

  This was difficult work, double plasterboard had collapsed. I had Doran on recommendation from a specialist plasterwork company in SW6. Their price was significantly lower than other companies. Doran and his partner were plainly supremely competent, the job was faultless, true invisible mending, they were punctual, courteous and cleaned up after what is naturally messy work. I am Most grateful to them and thoroughly recommend them.

• Ceiling repair/plaster and access hatch

  I contacted Stewart and McKay for ceiling plastering, with an access hatch following a leak in the ceiling above. The quote was provided promptly and Colin provided a date to arrange the service quite soon after which was a relief. The work was carried out very efficiently and to a high standard over 2 days. Colin took time to prep the room, including laying down carpet coverings to avoiding splashes or dust. The ceiling looked brand new and was smooth. Overall, I was really pleased with the quality of service provided by Colin and would highly recommend for plastering jobs.

• Repair and skimming of bedroom walls

  Couldn’t recommend these guys more. They were extremely friendly and informative. We had holes and cracks repaired in the walls in two rooms and then the walls skimmed. They got the job done quickly and professionally. will definitely be recommending them to friends and family if needed.

  Colin and Doran were both friendly, professional and conscientious and worked hard to complete the job in one day. They removed all of the old render, applied a skim coat using a mesh to ensure the cracks did not reoccur and then finished with the final skim. The finish is perfect. They subsequently tidied up and left the area spotless. My wife who is nervous around people she doesn’t know remarked they were both very personable and didn’t feel uncomfortable in their presence. I could not fault their work which was competitively priced and would not hesitate to use their services again.
