Level out rear garden and lay porcelain slabs for a maintenance free garden
After having a few quotes I decided to go with Stuart. After deciding on the slabs I liked Stuart ordered them on my behalf and arranged everything. In the end Stuart was unable to work on my garden because of a foot injury but his employee James did an excellent job at laying my slabs, with Stuart popping in to make sure everything was going ok. James was a very pleasant young man and worked very hard. I had a number of slabs over which Stuart returned and arranged a refund. Stripping and turfing lawn, and building a rose arch, laying a path
I have used Stuart Gray for a couple of jobs, First they build a sturdy rose arch which matched my existing trellis, which I am very pleased with, also put in a brick path around my lawn. Lately they have stripped and put turf down on my lawn. Very quick and neat work. Will certainly use them again.Job location: EX710 Patios / Paving

Garden landscape
They were very professional, hard working and courteous. Stuart listened to what I required, adding in suggestions to improve my idea. Jason worked like a Trojan , and nothing was too much trouble for them. They left the job neat and tidy. Large patio
I’m devastated with the final finish of my patio. The slabs have irregular gaps between, numerous slabs have lippage where they are not level with the other slabs, there are saw marks in some and there was not enough grouting done to fill the gaps. Many slabs became loose and there was a white resin residue left all over, that I had to have them come back to sort. Stuart was so unresponsive to calls and messages. As a single woman, I feel completely taken advantage. Now, after a drains issue, none of 4 covers he did were removable. Work was carried out over 1 1/2 years ago. When we left the job originally the client was happy. I have returned multiple times to deal with issues client had. She is never satisfied and was very rude to me. Unfotunately not our normal 5* service result.

Remove old fence and install new one
Stuart and his team removed existing trellis and fence. The new fence consisted of concrete posts and gravel boards. The existing trellis work was reused and a bespoke feather edge board fence made for the centre part. A raised bed was extended to meet the new fence and extra trellis placed on top of existing fence. Stuart and his team were very professional in their work and left the site clean and tidy.
