Nikos was helpful from the first time we met him, when we discussed the work for a quote we felt confident that he would be the right person for the job. He offered helpful suggestions and tips to achieve what we wanted in our space. Nikos helped us by recommending a good structural engineer that he had worked with before, meaning we had a smooth working relationship with all of the parties involved with building control. We had a delay in the works and Nikos communicated well with us, keeping us updated. The team left our house clean and safe each day. I would highly Studio Ninety-Three.

The job arose because a water leak in the bathroom had lifted the existing vinyl flooring. There was a need to investigate the source of the leak and any damage caused by it, and to remedy this. The job involved a strong knowledge of both domestic house construction and plumbing which Nikolaos of Studio 93 possessed. The source of the leak was discovered and the leak was remedied. The bathroom floor was tiled after wet timbers had been replaced with hardwood plywood, and this had been fully waterproofed. The washbasin and toilet were replaced and also wooden boxing near the bath and toilet.

The project was to remove two small stud walls which had been a cupboard and then to install a new shower unit and replace toilet and basin. Also the en-suite shower was replaced. Both areas were fitted with floor tiles. The company was very interactive during the course of the project, making design suggestions to improve the outcome and providing solutions when unexpected challenges arose during the course o the job. The estimated cost and duration were low, and there were some minor project management issues, but these were fully resolved and the end result is very pleasing.

Nikolaos was a pleasure to deal with. Very knowledgeable. Fixed the problem with the old wall fixings that were not fit for purpose. Would recommend.

Nikolaos was fantastic to work with - 1) Beyond his building expertise, he also brought his formal civil engineering and project management expertise to bear on the project - and was very professional. 2) Along with the major works, he was also very obliging and courteous in fixing up some other minor glitches around the house (dropped door, stripped screws etc.) without any additional compensation - and gave useful advice on maintenence and other work which may be required. 3) Very patient in the face of some 'unreasonable' requests for reporting from Building Control inspections

The Contractor turned up early every day for over a week, to install 3 gallows brackets. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Using the structural engineer's calculations and designs he was able to install the bespoke brackets to building regulations. Then frame ,box up and plaster all within a week. Very satisfied.
