  Complete renovation & remodelling of 1960s bungalow.

  Callum Edinburgh of Summit Building is a very knowledgeable builder and project manager. He is excellent at explaining the plan and processes he and his team work to. He has a team of trades people working for him or with him that produce high quality work and are confident enough to describe what they are doing and why. There has not been any aspect of the renovation works that Callum and his team have not efficiently carried out. From the extension foundations, changes to the foul drainage, structural steel beams, new roof, new windows throughout, kitchen & bathroom fit-out.

  New build conversion

  Callum and the team are brilliant. From initial costing on our build project for the bank to completing the build to an incredible standard. If something needed to be done it was always no problem. I would highly recommend to anyone that needs work doing. I will certainly be using Summit Build again for any future projects.

  Bungalow renovation including new kitchen, removal of walls, plumbing, decorating and electrics

  Working with Summit Build has been a pleasure from start to finish. The whole team has been very professional, friendly and take pride in their work which is reflected in the high standard of finish on our home. At every stage we had a great working relationship and even faced with challenges, the professional advice given and explanations behind them gave us every confidence that we were getting the best solution. I would definitely recommend them and look forward to working with them again.

  Extension to kitchen and conversion of 2 rooms in to open plan kitchen/diner

  Callum understood our brief straight away and put us at ease with his knowledge and friendly approach. He involved us in all decisions throughout the build. His experience showed through when making suggestions. He found alternative solutions to any lack of materials to keep the build moving forward. He completely recessed a large steel beam into the rafters to give us a flat ceiling, which improved the original design. He coordinated all the other tradespeople so we were able to have him as a single point of contact. All the team tidied up well each day. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

  Internal renovation work and creation of a ‘through’ fireplace for woodburner.

  Callum and the team are truly excellent builders and tradesmen, demonstrating craftsmanship second to none whilst working tidily and efficiently. Ours was a fiddly job in 5 parts, involving demolition of 500 year old brickwork in some areas, and recreation of parts in sympathetic style. The end result is fantastic and better than we’d hoped. Callum operated as Project Manager, which ensured that all 3rd party trades were co ordinated to come and go on time and ensure that the various jobs progressed at decent pace. Highly recommend Callum and Summit.
