Jon came highly recommended by a friend who had used him for several jobs. I asked him to fix an issue with my staircase – a tricky job needing real skill. After I sent photos and explained the problem, Jon talked me through his thoughts over the phone, then visited to quote and clearly explained what was required. His price was fair and exactly as estimated. He completed the work in a single day, and it was like watching a master craftsman. Jon was meticulous, patient, explained everything as he went, worked neatly and tidied up fully. He was pleasant and professional throughout.

Jon came to create a new interior wall up our stairs, replaced an interior door and a glass panel which needed changing to reinforced glass. He was brilliant from start to finish, communicating with us on what he did along the way and was professional and friendly throughout. Couldn't recommend him more, will definitely be going back to Jon in the future for any work needed.

We wanted a large window bench in our new flat which is in a Grade II listed building. We were very fortunate to select Jon when we listed the work at Checkatrade. Jon made sure he understood what we had in mind by communicating very effectively during our first meeting. When he started the work, Jon showed up on time every day and worked very hard until late. After very successfully installing my internal doors, Jon worked for my daughter who also had internal doors hung and frames made good along with repairs to stairs, landing and bedroom floorboards which were unstable. The work was completed to a very high standard and she was delighted with the outcome. Would definitely recommend.
