Oliver and his team did a great job of removing all the moss from our roof and cleaned the gutters. This was done using scrapers, not pressure washing. This was a large job with a lot of moss to be removed, which they completed on the day and then treated the roof with biocide. They cleared up every scrap of moss that had fallen to the ground and left everything very neat and tidy. We now have a moss free roof that looks so much better. Olivers team, led by Chris, did a thorough and first class job, were very fastidious, paying attention to detail and ensuring that the site was left spotless. They took one short break at lunchtime and were pleasant and respectful. The cleaned roofs were finally treated with Biocide, having made sure that the gutters and downpipes were clear of debris. Driveway was completed to a similar standard. The site was immaculate when they left and all debris taken away. First class workmanship. Brilliant end result and worthy of recommendation! Surrey Roof And Gutter Clean have been in operation for over 12 years. Our service offers great, long lasting results without the need for abrasive jet washing. After manually removing the moss from your tiles, we sterilise the roof with a powerful biocide that will delay the time in which the moss returns and also kill the algae on the surface of the tile. Over the coming months your tiles will gently brighten up.
Eventually the dark algae patches will degrade and get washed away, revealing the natural colour of your roof! Our biocide (Algo clear) is stronger than any fungicide and has been proven to be very effective even at lower ratio applications than we use. It targets the biofilm of any vegetation on your roof and then naturally dissipates. It can also be used for lower areas such as patios and driveways.
Soft washing Patios, driveways and decking: We utilise a range of chemicals for different situations to improve the appearance of lower areas such as patios , driveways, walls, render and decking without the need of jet washing. In some cases a quick chemical wash is all that’s needed to revive these surfaces without the need and expense of jet washing.
