  Structural repairs to garage to insert a lintel, repair brickwork and bracing to the roof eaves

  This was a very positive experience. Great care was taken to protect the terrace, garden furniture and garage contents. The work itself is of a very high standard and Surrounded by Stone did an excellent colour match on the bricks. The work was completed within the estimated time and the site was cleaned up and restored. We would definitely recommend and use them again.

  Kitchen extension

  I used Surrounded by Stone to build a single story side return extension for my terraced Victorian house, creating a larger kitchen plus separate toilet/ utility area. Howard and his team were always punctual, tidy and good humoured. Communication was good and potential issues were explained to me and then dealt with. Access to my small house was difficult but Howard managed to deal with that as well! The work was carried out to a very high standard - I love the result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the company most highly.

  Ground floor extension for new kitchen and bedroom

  From Day 1, our experience has been fantastic. The build has been a large project having to dig out our garden, build a retaining wall, before being able to start on the extension. Howard along with Dan, were fantastic during this time, keeping us informed and project managing along with building everything. All the trades that have been brought, have been outstanding, we have had minimal disruption to our daily lives and we can’t wait to start using our new extension once the kitchen has been installed. We couldn’t recommend Howard and his team any more highly

  Brickwork for extension

  Howard and the boys did a great job on my 2 storey extension, from the beginning Howard was helping us match the bricks and using his many connections to locate them . They are all very polite and careful and always left the garden and drive tidy at the end of everyday, also turning up on time when arranged was refreshing as this in my experience with other trades has not been the case . I would definitely recommend Surrounded by stone and I’m sure we will be using the guys again for our next project.

  Double side with rear wrap around extention

  Howard at surrounded by stone is a highly professional builder with outstanding knowledge and incredable attention to detail. Nothing is too much trouble for howard and his team and with impeccable time keeping, value for money and being incredibly clean and tidy howard is the answer for your next project. I have used howard several times and he delivers on time and within budget every time and couldnt recommend him enough
