  Excellent Service for New Fire Door

  After I was informed my flat required a new fire door, I reached out to a number of companies. The Sussex Door Company were instantly the most helpful and friendly, they provided much needed advice and no question was too much for them. From initial contact to door installation, everything has run smoothly and everyone I have dealt with has been professional and friendly. I am very happy with my new door and would recommend the company.

  Unnecessary sales tactics used

  My experience with Sussex Door Company was disappointing and left me feeling under considerable pressure throughout the process. On 25 June 2026, I received an email stating that the manufacturer’s prices would increase on 1 July and that I needed to pay my deposit within five days to avoid paying more. This created a strong sense of urgency and made me feel pressured into making a decision before I was ready. Later, when I spoke to the company, I was told they had “swallowed” the price increase. That left me questioning whether the earlier deadline had been to unnecessarily pressure me to pay

  Efficient, friendly & helpful

  I needed various improvements to be done on an internal door to my flat. They were very efficient in planning and scheduling the works, and got the job done quickly with no fuss. Very friendly and helpful throughout. A very positive experience.

  Installation of new fire escape door

  Sussex Door came and measured up the work at the appointed time. They contacted us when the door was delivered to say it was delivered but had to return it to the manufacturer as it was damaged |They received the replacement unit which was fitted to suit our programme well within the time allowed It all functioned well and the operative cleaned up all the mess and removed the old door We are very pleased

  Massive Disappointment

  Sussex Doors used to be a great little company but all that seems to have changed in the last year or so: sadly my recent experience has been one of incredible delay, poor workmanship and lack of specialist knowledge of products available alongside more of an interest in the money they want me to pay them rather than customer satisfaction.   Very pleased with the work done by Sussex Doors. The people who did the work seemed to be professional and friendly. There was also easy and efficient communication with the office in Burgess Hill by phone and email.
