  Door and fireplace lintel fitting

  From start to finish Richard was amazing. We needed the work completely quickly so we could carry on with the house renovations. He managed to fit us in the same week, was very response, completed the job in the given timeframe, and as others have said he offered to do extra things like help my grandad fit light switches. Would highly recommend Swain Building services and will definitely utilise them again for further projects.

  Repairing water damage to a porch and carrying out repairs to prevent further problems

  Richard identified the source of water damage to the porch which was a badly blocked drain. He then carried out work on the drainage system to prevent future re-occurrences. I was pleased with his conscientiousness and the quality of his work. He turned when he said he would and was polite and helpful. I would use him again.

  Richard and his team done a very good job of removing garage and making the area look presentable again. We are really pleased with work. Richard and his team were a lovely friendly team, they were a polite, courteous and respectful. I would not hesitate to use them again.

  Porch and downstairs toilet built

  We had a downstairs toilet and porch built, Richard and Dean have done a fantastic job, very professional, and were also happy to carry out other work along the way, which included digging out a solid floor in our hall and laying boards, extra electrics, tiling into the new downstairs toilet, fitting a new front door, skirting and architrave, thermal boarding and skimming a study, would have no hesitation in recommending and will definitely use again

  Door handle repair

  Couldn’t open the door to my downstairs toilet, it had jammed. Found Richard on Checkatrade and he come round within a week of my enquiry and sorted it out quickly. Great service and very courteous.
