  Stephen was friendly and professional throughout his time working on my son's room, always turning up promptly and finishing all the work on time. Stephen went the extra yard to really add the extra finish - varnishing woodwork, suggesting a slight alteration to the planned work which improved the final finish, and ensuring everything was done to a high standard. He tidied up everything completely once he was done (even the tea mug was cleaned!). My son is really pleased with his new room. Thanks Stephen! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services to anyone.

  Steve is absolutely lovely and super helpful, he did a great job in transforming a very tired room into a vibrant playroom. He was a pleasure to deal with and provided a lot of help and insight throughout the project. He is also very tidy, once the job was done I did not need to clean it, I could immediately go in and use the room. I would highly recommend him.

  Can highly recommend Stephen! I had very short timescales to paint the entire interior of my property between rentals and Stephen still managed to finish ahead of plan. There was no compromise to the quality of work and he went above and beyond to ensure everything was completed in time. He made what was was becoming a stressful experience easy and gave some valuable advise in the process. I will be a returning customer… thank you!

• Kitchen and living room decorating

  We found Steve to help with some cosmetic repairs to our kitchen and to decorate the living room. Steve was great, really knowledgeable of products we should use, his attention to detail and overall finish is 10/10, we’ve been left with excellent finish and like new again! I Would recommend him and definitely be using again!

• Does exactly what it says on the tin!

  I usually only use trades people who have been recommended to me by friends/family, but I was struggling with finding someone to paint the exterior of my rented property. After reading the positive reviews on Steve on Checkatrade, I decided to take the chance and I am so glad I did! He did a top rate job on the shabby looking exterior. He kept me up to date with progress and even gave advice on how to keep it looking good for longer. Will definitely use his services again and would highly recommend him.

  Thank goodness for this site, as it helped me find this company. I had no idea where to start with this. Steve was confident and so efficient. For such a messy job he also left my house cleaner than when he arrived! I have no hesitation in recommending him for any decorating job.
