    Electric Gate and Motion Sensor – Service and Repair

    Renato was very quick to response to my SOS call to have our BFT electric gate repaired, and attended on the date and time agreed. My initial diagnosis was that the motors were knackered and probably need replacing, but when Renato attended, he attempted to service the existing motors to see if they could be brought back to life. Thankfully, he was able to restore the motors to normal service. Not only that, he also resolved a longer-term issue we had with the motion sensor not re-opening the gate, or detecting a vehicle passing through by installed a new board. Extremely happy customer!

    Gate automation

    Renato was simply excellent. He came, reviewed our existing gates and gave a quote for the automation. He explained the various features for safety and worked around challenges specific to our gate. He gave us the pros and cons of each of the various options. He organised to complete the works with a relatively quick turnaround. Him and his colleague worked very hard to complete the work to a high standard in the suggested time.

    Fantastic electric gate service/repair

    Our electric gate had stopped working and the main fuse was repeatedly blowing. For several years we had left it for manual operation as we were refurbishing but we now wanted it to work again. Renato came out, assessed the problem, tested power and motor, quoted for the remedial work, provided additional safety advice and subsequently returned, months later when our electrician had done some work to reroute the main power supply, to make the gate work again. Renato was helpful, expert, dedicated. Thank you Renato.

    Fantastic service, punctual, efficient and highly recommend

    Very happy with service provided by Renato recently (March 2026). He arrived at the time given for the appointment (actually ahead of time so he was there exactly when it was stated) and took the exact amount of time estimated. Impressive! Gate was serviced efficiently and recommendations made for improvements. He helped to obtain a missing key to allow manual operation and also installed a keypad to allow another means to open the gate as well as the fobs. I found Renato via Check-a-trade and always a bit of a worry to try someone you do not know, but I can 100% recommend and will use again.
