  Re-wire of lights and replacement of fitted light unit

  This is the third time we have used Taylor Electrics and Neil provided an excellent, tidy and professional service. He completed the job in a timely manner and was very fairly priced - would use him again

  Full rewire inc. Lights, plugs and consumer unit.

  I wish I could say our experience with Neil was similar to some of his better reviews but it was more comparable to some of his worst. I’m not sure if this was due to the scale of the job or the approach we took, but we will not be using him again. His manner and communication were often blunt, patronising and lacking common courtesy, and often he didn't even reply. He booked in to finish the job in 3 days but repeatedly postponed and took 6 weeks to complete. Our experience overall was frustrating and stressful. He took longer to do the job, cost us more money and had an impact on our health.

  Electrical testing and repairs

  Neil is a excellent electrician that I have used at rented properties many times over the last 5 years. Always on time, trustworthy and comes up with many good ideas to overcome problems. Work always done to a good standard at the agreed price and a genuine nice person.

  Full socket rewire adding multiple new outlets/new consumer unit

  Lovely guy, pleasure to have him doing the electrical side of my flat renovation. Work quality was excellent, even when all the plaster fell off the wall that was going to have the consumer unit on it (not his fault I may add!). Even the plasterer that followed commented several times what a good job had been made, making his life easier to repair the blown wall to the consumer unit. Parts were only as a first fix still while the kitchen is fitted, plastering and decorating done. Neil has however said he will come and do the second fix as soon as I am ready. I would recommend/use again.

  Fitted an outside security night, traced a fault with my dishwasher socket. And fitted 3 additional wall sockets.

  I was really happy with Neil's work . He gave me advice on which outside light would be most suitable. He also explained what work was involved in moving a light switch , giving me alternative options which I was unaware of, accommodating to my needs better.
