  would not use again

  I would not use this company again. They were booked for 1 to 2pm and arrived after 4pm, which is unacceptable when someone has planned their day around a confirmed time slot. The worst part was the payment handling. Before unloading, they insisted on taking payment outside the building in a very public setting. Their card machine then failed, and instead of dealing with it properly, they left me standing there in an awkward and embarrassing situation while continuing to push for payment. In the end, I had to sort it out myself by bank transfer with the office, which I had suggested initially.

  Will not accept responsibility for any loss / damage

  Do NOT use this company. I was initially very satisfied with their services. However, unfortunately a brand new mattress costing several thousand pounds got wet in storage / on the move and went very mouldy. They also lost three of our items. They are refusing to accept responsibility for both and their insurers are also claiming that any mould / mildew is excluded from their insurance policy. They also charged us a lump sum of cash that they’d never previously mentioned to protect our carpets in the new house from their shoes. We are now several thousand out of pocket.

  Moving house

  I used TDS removals this week, they left most of my furniture outside in a shed but brought into the house lots of boxes. The boxes were badly marked I still haven’t found much of my belongings days later INCLUDING A COMPUTER they took no notice of the items I told them was dealing with and had set aside took and packed all my shoes and clothes I had to go barefoot to some shops to buy new shoes the next day they took my handbag don’t use them to try and sort out the terrible state and terrible problems they’ve left me with will take months and money to try and resolve plus at least one of the

  Removal service

  I used TDS removals to move home. From the outset they were quick to quote and answered all my questions instantly. (Unlike all the other companies that quoted me.)The communication was great and gave me comfort that the move would go well. On moving day the crew turned up early and took all the stress away from us with their professional smooth approach. Everything was wrapped and handled with care. I can not thank them enough for the service they provided. They were top class and I would definitely recommend them.

  Great hard working team from TDS. They were very punctual, professional and respectful. Made things easy for me by keeping me informed on time and any extra cost for waiting.
