  Friendly and professional

  Berro and his colleague Joe have just completed a refurbishment of our kitchen. The work consisted of replacing all our worktops, complete with sink and hob, and also re-tiling. The work took 2 days and has been completed to a high standard. We both now just stand and admire the kitchen! From first contact, via the Checkatrade app, to supplying a quote to completing the work Berro has been friendly and professional. He consulted while the work was in progress to make sure we were happy with all aspects, and the job was booked in within a very reasonable timeframe. Thoroughly recommended!

  Good timekeeping and lots of effort.

  Was trying not to leave a review but I think I should. The good points: They have great time keeping and putting in the work effort. They are nice people. The not so good: a lot of wastage. Unconventional plumbing. Wonky radiator pipes. Tiles with chips, uneven cuts and gaps not uniform. Ripples in the skim ceiling. Vanity/sink not fitted correctly. Disabled grab bar badly fitted. Will get charged for non consumables eg drill bits hole saws gloves etc . Superficially everything looks decent and functions. Helps if you can do DIY afterwards. Needs oversight to make sure work is good.

  After agreeing to the deal and starting work, we were shocked to discover that all the products and materials were from the TikTok app. Furthermore, there were four different types of tiles in varying sizes and thicknesses, all for a small bathroom, which wasn't part of our contract. Every morning, we found he had discarded our work and made alterations based on videos he'd watched on YouTube. We worked under immense pressure for 14 days. Despite this, we remained respectful, didn't act abusively, and delivered excellent work. Of course, we don't guarantee any (prod/ mate) from unknow sources.

  Kitchen complete refit with new ceiling and floor

  Third time with Berro and no regrets. A very reasonable quote and a fantastic job transforming my shabby 1970’s kitchen into something of beauty and fit for the 21st century. Before the installation he went with me to Wickes to iron out design problems that he could foresee with the Wickes design which prevented problems further down the line, and also used his discount card on my behalf. Once the project was underway, the pride taken in doing a good job and just how much work Berro’s team get through has been impressive. Very happy with the results

  We hired Mr Berro to install our en-suite bathroom, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. He took our ideas and designs, and turned them into a space that’s both beautiful and highly functional. His attention to detail, workmanship, and pride in his craft were evident throughout the project. Since then, we’ve also asked him to undertake other carpentry work around the house, and those projects have been completed to the same exceptionally high standard.
