He quoted an hourly rate, but when the jobs were completed, he totalled parts and labour together, and despite my request, refused to split out the two. Based on the 4 hours or so he was there, this led me to believe I had been overcharged.

Of the two jobs I've completed for you, one was on a fixed-price basis, which you accepted without any queries and I've always been willing to provide an itemised cost breakdown, though you only requested this 12 months after completing the job.
Considering this, I was surprised to receive your review (14 months after working for you) especially as you've always expressed complete satisfaction with my work, pricing/invoicing and communication. It seems your review coincides with our last communication in May 2024, when I couldn’t meet your preferred timeline and recommended other trusted companies instead.
I always strive to be available and approachable for my customers and as a fellow small business owner, you’ll understand the impact of a negative review, so I regret you felt the need to share your concerns publicly rather than contacting me directly.
