Efficient installation of a new boiler
Thackery Heating have just completed the installation of a new boiler to my two bedroom flat. Overall the installation was excellent. The quote was competitive and well explained. A date was set for the installation and this was kept. The crew arrived on site promptly at 8am. The team, two engineers and a trainee were all competent and qualified for the tasks they were set. The operation was well resourced with adequate equipment. The whole installation and testing was completed within a working day with minimal disruption. The job will be done properly with no short cuts. So important when dealing with gas appliances.
If only all firms were as good as Thackeray Heating. Our LPG Boiler failed and was repaired the same day with all new parts required fitted and working to perfection. Motherboard in boiler replacement
Karl responded to my urgent call on a Saturday as we had no boiler operation whatsoever. The temperature in our home was 12c & we are elderly. Unfortunately it needed a new motherboard . Being a weekend a replacement wasn’t possible . He was at our home at 9am very prompt , with part in his hands. He was quick , very cheery, & the repair was done . I have worked in the plumbing and heating industry since 2006.
I studied for four years at Suffolk college whilst working as an apprentice with a local plumbing and heating firm gaining my level two and three qualification in plumbing and heating, as well as my gas safe qualification.
I started working for myself in 2010.
Since then, I have taken on an apprentice (Brandan) who has been with me since 2013 he is now a fully qualified heating engineer and is carrying out jobs on his own.
I pride my company on being very neat and tidy in everything we do; the only way I can guarantee this is to train my staff from the beginning. This way I feel I can mold them into my idea of the perfect engineers.
We cover a wide range of work including bathroom installations, boiler breakdowns, servicing, landlord certificates, hot water cylinder replacements, radiator changes, power flushing, leak repairs, and much more.
