The Attic Guys responded soon after my request for a quote. I needed my attic fully lagged and boarded. Also, there was an old metal water tank that needed to be removed. Just a couple of days after, a surveyor came out who was very knowledgeable and helpful. He provided me with a comprehensive list of graduated options. Just a week later, the installation team arrived. They worked very hard, barely taking a break, and now I have a very useable space, fully lagged and boarded, with an enlarged attic hatch with integral ladder. The guys did a great job boarding our loft. New hatch, new ladder, lights, insulation, pretty much everything was completed, and all to a high standard. Gave a very comprehensive quote - explained the details of the job and the reasons for the cost very clearly - emphasising that there would be no hidden extras on the final bill. Really happy with the final result of our loft boarding. The process for surveying and quotes was good. Everyone we dealt with was polite and friendly. The work took longer than expected (2.5 days instead of 1) but they kept to the original agreed price. VJ did most of the work - although quite fresh to the job his work ethic and attention to detail was excellent which we really appreciated. Job location: E15The end-to-end process was clear and communicative. Starting with a fee free quotation, explaining multiple options at different price points gives you the choice of where you wish to invest and where you may not. We didn't feel pressured at all. The workmen were great, clean, tidy and considerate of the private home. They asked questions about positioning of shelves, loft hatch position and ensured they "made right" any areas which were affected by the works. The Attic Guys did four days work on our attic. They worked hard and efficiently but were considerate about reducing the disruption for us. 2. Our Raised Loft Leg Flooring System with timber crossings allows your insulation to breathe and is ideal for properties under 10 yrs old.
3. Our Cross Boarding Flooring System is great for lofts without much headroom or lofts that need to carry a heavier bearing load, or older style properties where the loft is built in a traditionally sturdier style. Also allowing insulation to breathe.
We can supply and install Loft hatches and Ladders for ease of accessibility along with our loft boarding packages, we can add lighting or roof windows if you wish.
