    If RAC WANT TO TAKE YOUR CAR HERE, CHOOSE ANOTHER GARAGE

    IF YOUR CAR BREAKS DOWN AND RAC WANT TO DROP YOU OFF HERE, TELL THEM TO TAKE YOU TO ANOTHER GARAGE. My clutch went in the centre of Bham so RAC dropped my car here. I paid to get it fixed and Steve wanted an extra £350 to ‘fix the shock absorber’. I told them to just sort the clutch which I paid £720 for. I drove it back the next day and the clutch went again! Had to take it to my local garage to fix properly as they hadn’t linked the clutch properly and it was actually the nearside mount that needed replacing, not the shock absorber. So over £1K down the drain if I’d have listened to Steve.

    MOT plus other repairs

    Excellent friendly service. Clearly explained jobs and costs before starting work. All work completed as agreed. Car drives much better, would definitely recommend. Nice cuppa too!

    MOT on a motorhome

    Steve (the son) and Graham (the Dad) are fantastic. I started going because the auto workshop does Hackney carriage taxi MOT work for Birmingham City Council. The guys here and Steve's team are great. Always very reliable, honest and helpful. I now bring my VW camper, Mini Cooper S, and VW Sharan. Waiting for Steve to do the course and I'll be bringing my Honda Blackbird.

    Replaced turbos.

    My 2014 5 series BMW was smoking badly, which was quickly diagnosed as the Turbo. A price was quickly agreed along with a collection date and the car was repaired quickly and efficiently in the time discussed. The team are very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I have used the Auto Workshop for close to 15 years and wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Fantastic job well done.
