Alex and the team have been excellent on our projects, undertaking various landscaping and garden works. Paving, turfing, structural steps, retaining walls and drainage.

General Gardening
Generally speaking service and level of work completed was poor. Whilst the actual gardening done was OK unfortunately on multiple occasions the gardeners failed to turn up or rescheduled last minute and when they were here seemed to spend much of the time smoking and or texting and gardening with one hand. Communication throughout was poor and I would not recommend this company to others wanting general garden upkeep.

This has been the most poor experience from a professional service.
Our garden is a mess I contacted Alex via Checkatrade. After numerous phone calls and promises to contact me, he finally came around last Monday, and agreed to do the work and was booking a date for job. I contacted him via text last Thursday to ask for his quotation, as he was not answering call or voice messages. Nothing back!! I called again on Saturday and he said he was busy with a client and would call back. Nothing!

Landscaping, laying paths and patio areas, lighting installation, tree surgery, instal shed
The Groundsmen were recommended to us by Ruxley Manor garden centre and we were incredibly impressed with their work. They undertook landscaping of our rear garden, laying paths and patio areas, lighting installation, tree surgery, removal of old and build of a new shed. Despite our site being challenging they made light work of it over two weeks. We found Alex and Lewis to be very professional and generous with their advice and knowledge. They were a joy to work with and took pride in delivering the very sharp finish that we were looking for. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

We instructed Alex and his team to clear the end of our garden and put in a children’s play area
Alex and Lewis worked on our garden for 4 days and they were both extremely professional, knowledgable and generally nice guys! They transformed our garden from an overgrown, unusable space to a brilliant play area for our children. Digging and levelling out the base and filling with child friendly wood bark. Alex gave professional advice on what options we could do to transform our garden with several different budget options which we loved. We would highly recommend Alex and his team as they are hard working, honest and down to earth guys that will not rip you off!
